Contact directory
The web portal includes a contact directory.
Contacts are system users who do not have a login account but can still be informed by the system.
Contacts are used, for example, for:
- Sending notifications. A notification is a message sent when predefined alarm rules are met.
- Sending status updates. A status update is sent within Projects. When a project reaches the next phase, contacts are informed accordingly.
The advantage of a contact directory is that a contact only needs to be entered once.
Usage
You can search the contact directory using a search string. If no match is found, you can add a new contact, which can be edited later.
