API connectivity
101 Solutions has a web service that allows information to be exchanged with third parties using APIs. The format that is usually used is XML or JSON.
In practice, this means that with the help of a web service, data from the 101 Solutions system can be automatically exported to another system, or data from another system can be imported into the 101 Solutions remote monitoring system.
Examples of pushing data via an API
Sending maintenance intervals.
Once a predefined operating hour threshold is reached, a message is automatically sent to an ERP system where a maintenance technician is scheduled to perform a service.
Sending alarms.
When an alarm is triggered, a notification is automatically sent to a control room (optionally combined with an SMS and/or email).
Sending billable hours.
The number of operating hours recorded each day is automatically sent to a billing system.
Examples of pulling data
Information from third parties.
Information from measurements carried out by third parties. This information can be imported via web services, independent of the hardware used to collect the data.
Importing additional information.
Data can be imported from another system to serve as a supplement. For example, the deployment of machines on a project. This information comes from a logistics package. Or the contents of a fuel tank. This information comes from a package provided by a supplier of fuel meters.
To use this web service, a specific web service key is required, which is provided by 101 Solutions upon request. This key is customer-specific and non-transferable.
