Webservice / API
101 Solutions has a web service, which uses APIs, to exchange information with third parties. The format used is usually XML or JSON.
In practice, this means that using a web service, data can be automatically exported from the 101 Solutions system to another system or imported from another system into 101 Solutions’ remote monitoring system.
In practice, this means that using a web service, data can be automatically exported from the 101 Solutions system to another system or imported from another system into 101 Solutions’ remote monitoring system.
Examples of data push via an API:
Transmission of Service interval – after reaching a preset time interval, a message is automatically sent to an ERP system where a maintenance engineer is scheduled to perform a service.
Alarm transmission – an alarm becomes active and a notification is automatically sent to a control room (optional in combination with an SMS and/or e-mail).
Fuel level transmission – the current fuel level is transmitted to a system where the logistics of fuel supply are controlled
Examples of data pull:
Information originating from third parties. – Information from measurements made by third parties. This information can be imported via web services, independent of the hardware used to collect information.
Import additional information. – Data can be imported from another system to serve as a supplement. For example, data from an object being monitored. Example is a silo being monitored, where the properties of the silo’s contents (type of raw material, specific weight and supplier name) are imported from other systems.
Using this web service requires a specific web service key, which will be provided by 101 Solutions upon request. This key is client-specific and is not transferable.
